Terms & Conditions - Thank you for choosing Craker Tutoring (“I”, “me”, “my”). By booking or attending tutoring sessions, you (“the student” or “the parent/guardian”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Provided
Craker Tutoring provides private tutoring in Mathematics and English for students in Years 5 to 9, including SATs and Functional Skills preparation. Lessons are available in person (at an agreed location) or online via Zoom or Google Meet.

2. Booking and Payment

Lessons must be scheduled in advance via email, text message, or phone call or the online booking system.
Payment is required prior to each session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include PayPal or Bank Transfer.
Late payments fees of £5.00 p/day maybe applied depending client's circumstances with previous notice or prior agreement with administration.
Lesson fees are available upon enquiry and may be reviewed periodically with prior notice.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session without incurring a charge.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
If Craker Tutoring must cancel a session, reasonable notice will be provided and the lesson will be rescheduled or refunded accordingly.

4. Late Arrivals

If a student arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time. If the tutor is delayed, the lost time will be added to the current or a future session.
If a tutor is going to be late for Face - Face Tuition, the tutor will contact you to provide you with an update on the estimated arrival and reason.

5. Refund Policy
Refunds are only available for prepaid sessions that are cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice. No refunds will be issued for completed sessions or missed appointments without prior notice.

6. Online Lessons
Students are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace. Technical difficulties on the student’s side may result in a full session charge. If technical issues occur on the tutor’s side, the lesson will be rescheduled at no cost. Recording of sessions is not permitted without mutual consent.

7. In-Person Lessons
In-person lessons will take place at an agreed safe and suitable location. For students under 18, a responsible adult should be present. Craker Tutoring reserves the right to end a session or discontinue services if safety or conduct becomes a concern.

8. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to attend lessons prepared, engaged, and with all necessary materials. Homework or additional practice may be assigned to reinforce learning between sessions.

9. Results Disclaimer
While Craker Tutoring is committed to helping each student progress, no specific academic outcomes or grades can be guaranteed.

10. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All personal and academic information shared will remain confidential and used solely for educational purposes. Information is securely stored and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law.

11. Learning Materials and Copyright
All resources and materials provided by Craker Tutoring remain its intellectual property and may not be copied, distributed, or resold without prior written consent.

12. Liability
Craker Tutoring accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during or after a tutoring session, except where required by law.

13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Berkshire.
